CHAIR YOGA: (9:00pm-11:00am)
Bilingual instructor. This is an inclusive environment that uses a combination of standing, chair and floor positions which can fit to all levels. The class includes meditation, reflection, stretching and breathing techniques in combination with traditional positions to increase flexibility, balance and inner peace.
Bilingual instructor. Please bring your own weights (2-5 lbs). This is a fun and up-beat class that combines low-impact aerobic dance with light weights and stretching. Complex routines are used to strengthen balance, co-ordination and muscles, as well as cognition.
THOMAS MORE DISCUSSION GROUP (10:00-11:30am)
English instructor. Group members will be using different media to discuss the writings of authors and artists that have shaped Montreal's history, this Fall's topic is Montreal Voices-Celebrating 375. This group meets for 8 consecutive weeks.
THURSDAY LUNCH: (12:00-1:00pm) All are welcome
We ask members to reserve their spot each week by Wednesday at noon. For just $6, you receive soup
(or salad), main course, coffee, tea, and dessert.
Lunch & Health and Nutrition Presentation: On the last Thursday of the month, the lunch will be paired with a brief presentation by our cook and Naturopath, Barbara. Learn about nutrition and health, while you enjoy a delicious meal.
